RLS - September 2009
Went last night to a parents evening for Yr7 children starting at RLS this September.
Very well done, good literature to take away and most importantly, nice and short (45-50 mins) and a glass of wine!
Lots of senior staff milling about afterwards to answer any queries which is much better than a general Q and A session with everyone - which goes on and on.
175 children starting in Yr7 in September, which looks like they will be at their max in this year.

Yes, I also thought it was very well presented. I arrived just in time for the talks!Ambridge wrote:Went last night to a parents evening for Yr7 children starting at RLS this September.

Yes, I picked up on that as well...!Ambridge wrote: 175 children starting in Yr7 in September, which looks like they will be at their max in this year.
(although if last year is anything to go by there could perhaps be some movement in the autumn term.)
DD had a fantastic day today and her big sis took great delight in escorting her up the drive in the morning so that she did not have to walk into a room full of strangers, and meeting her again at the end of the day. It made all the difference and DD has made some friends already.
