Comparison across 4 years for interest (just one gap which tends not to vary much)....

OOC = Out of County
Year = year of secondary school entry e.g. '2009' = entry in Sept 2009
Qualified = those who pass the 11+ outright AND those who qualify via a successful selection appeal

Just a couple of numbers to add to that, Dad40.

The total number of GS places available is actually 2136 for 2008 & 2009.

The total number of places taken up as of January 2009 - so for your 2008 figures - was 1960.
