2009 pass mark

The following has been passed to me by someone who submitted a request for information to Bucks CC:
For a child with a September birthday, in the first test a raw score of 70 would be required to score 122. A score of 69 converts to 120. There is no direct score to achieve 121 at this particular point in the standardisation table.
In the second test a raw score of 71 would be required to score 122. Again, 70 converts to 120 and there is no direct score to achieve 121 at this point in the standardisation table.
It is occasionally the case that raw scores do not always have a standardised score to map to as there are 80 possible raw scores (0-80) and only 72 score gradations on the standardised scores between 69 and 141 inclusive.
