You can buy all the practice material you need from this site - click on "book shop", they usually arrive in a couple of days, also The Tutors downloadable papers are good and delivery to your computer is almost immediate.

I found with my DS that once he knew the technique for each question type we just had to work on speeding up to get all the questions completed in the time limit. I'm sure if you have a bright child who is determined to go to GS then familiarising him with the material shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks andyb, I am looking at the papers from this site, & I understand
about the Letts/GL thing, but I'm still concerned about some of these
test books being so old, (I thought they'd bring out up to date versions
every year...silly me!) For e.g. the Letts is 2003, the Brightsparks 2004,
are these still relevant enough to the recent tests?
These books aren't cheap especially if we need a selection, I want to
be sure I get the right ones!

Dear Kitla

All the papers that I quoted in my post on page 1 of this thread are relevant to the Bucks 11 Plus.

You do not need to know what BODMAS means for the Bucks papers.

As you are starting late, I would go for...

IPS method and tehcnique

IPS additional Questions and 10 tests.

The Tutors 6b - 12b [download as epapers]

Bright Sparks [both packs]

Letts [nfer/gl]

Look at my previous post for all the links.

The practice tests haven't changed in years. Letts/GLA like to change the covers regularly, just to trick you, but the contents are the same. There are now two packs of Brightsparks papers, and both of these are relevant.
