THank you everyone - I have followed this forum for a few years now in the build up to this and got a lot of useful advice.
Re: How is everyone doing?
Good luck to all the DC for next week. I'm off to buy bananas for the big day. (cf Patricia's tips)
Re: How is everyone doing?
Just to say a big thank you to everyone. I haven't posted much, being very new to everything 11 plus, but I have been an ever-regular visitor to the boards and the advice on here has been amazing.
After coming up to a regular 69-75 average across all paper difficulties (may born) over the summer Dd had her final wobble a couple of weeks ago with Susan Daughtrey paper 4: 54/80!!!!!!! It knocked her confidence no end - especially as it was the last of the 8 SD papers she did. However, her practice test scores A 1 & 2 have been 72, 73 & 75 respectively so I am banishing SD from now on (as recommended by you guys!), praising the amazing little soul every second of the day and slipping in that vocab whenever I can get away with it.
And yes, bananas on order...
