Can anyone advise - I know buses run,but exactly where from, which route, and at what sort of time. We are interested in WHS having seen round tonight, but does anyone know any details. Ideally we'd be looking from BurnhaMm / Taplow, but Maidenhead would also be OK as we both work there so could drop off.

go to all bus stops around the area where your child can take to bus school, that way you can explore if there is any good bus service to the school from your place

Thanks for the link - however this only uses public transport - so taking almost 2 hours and invoving several changes and walks!!
I know there are school buses certainly from Maidenhead which run - just wondered if anyone had more information about the options.

Have you tried ringing the school transport people at Bucks CC (Amey)? They are usually able to tell you routes, prices of passes and whether there are any seats available.

It would seem better to ask the school directly if it is aware of any such transport arrangements.

Given school catchments and the normal area from which WHS takes pupils the LEA is not likely to be providing any transport to Wycombe schools from Burnham or Taplow; and would not from OOC.

The only school buses I've seen picking up in Burnham are for BHS and one or two of the Maidenhead comps

Interestingly I know there is a bus from Uxbridge to WHS!! So not all local kids!

The nearest bus for Burnham to WHS is Bourne End.
This is the one Burnham school children who go there use.
