Bucks Familiarisation & Practice Papers

My son has his bucks 11+ exams next, as we are OOC.

He found practice test A very easy - finished it early and scored full marks.

This morning, he attempted Practice Test 1 and really struggled with it. In the end he left 3 blank - the ultimate mistake! He got 2 incorrect, so overall he scored 75 out 80. Having done so well in paper A, his confidence has taken a major knock.

He'll do his paper 2 tomorrow. Let's hope that lifts his spirits.

Has anyone else had similar experience with these papers?

Thanks.

Ash

My understanding is that practice paper A is intended to be easier to give them a gentle start and then practice papers 1 & 2 are the same sort of level as the real thing. I shouldn't worry - 75 is still a very good score.
