How's everyone coping since allocation day in bucks?

Just wondering how everyone is coping with yet more possible appeals for good schools in bucks.

We were unfortunate and have not got 1 of our 6 choices and are playing the deadline game again which is hard work trying to do around kids and work commitments.

Any thoughts on how to keep your head above water?

I agree it is difficult to stop it taking over you life. We made a decision not to tell our ds we are appealing which stops us talking about it constantly in front of the children. However last night my ds asked me to appeal so it is obviously on his mind anyway. I would be glad to hear how other parents are trying to help their children manage the process.

Another thought what about the transport links there's waiting lists for them! Oh the joys of the secondary school system
