Working out paper in exam

Post by Kiwimum »

When DC's sit the exam in Bucks are they given working out paper? Are they given a sheet of paper or do they have to do working out in the question booklet?

My DD seems to need alot of space to work things out and if she is not going to have that in the exam I need to tell her that now!

Candidates are not given rough paper. The instructions on the front of the practice tests state, 'You may do any rough working in this booklet'. The practice papers - and therefore, presumably, the real papers - have a fair amount of blank space in them. If you've been working with IPS papers till this point then you'll see that there's much more space available in the Susan Daughtrey and GL papers which have a layout which better mirrors the real thing.

Thanks Y.
Will have to make sure she only uses the question booklet from now on and writes much smaller!
