my ds is doing very well in school but i think i left it very late with the vr mock test. i have brought the susan d and nefer papers , ds has been practicing for only a few months and is scoring 65 out of 80 but he struggles with his vocabularly. any suggestion to what to do as i am sure this will be a disadvantage. by the way ds will be doing the buks vr test so what should he be getting on the practice papers.

I think you've put this in the wrong section - Kent instead of Bucks? If you look in the Bucks section there is quite a lot of info on scores needed in previous years etc etc. I think Patricia usually says that they need to be getting about 90% in practice to be reasonably sure. I don't think they actually need to get 90% in the test, but it leaves a margin of error for exam day nerves. It will also depend on what month your DC was born.

good luck.

On this occasion one of the moderators, Mitasol, saw Scary Mum's post, and was kind enough to move your post to the correct section.

If you want to start a new topic in the Bucks section, go to that section first of all
viewforum.php?f=12
and then click on 'new topic'.

Hope you're finding the forum helpful, and am glad to see that Patricia and others have found time to answer your various questions. It might be worth saying 'thank you' occasionally, as it's always an encouragement to people to carry on helping when they know their replies are appreciated.
:)
