Can anyone tell me whether the Bucks results letter tells you whether the child has merely 'passed or failed', or does it give you the actual mark scored?
Thank you.

hi munch
in regards to the result, if they are in bucks your ds will get a letter from the school which they will give to them to bring home, it will mention two seperate result paper1 and paper 2 results . if they have scored 121 or more in either tests they will recieve a grammer school placement , if less then you can appeal if you wish . so yes they give you the actual mark score.

And they don't use the "p" word or the "f" word - it's always the "q" word!

(i.e. qualified or not.)

I wish it was just "qualified" or not - after all the score above 121 is irrelevant.

Precisely scary mum-I was under the impression that if you did qualify then that's all you were told, ie no score-and if you didn't qualify only then you were given the score so you could consider an appeal based on the mark.
