congratulations to all succesful DCs and their parents. I remember the overwhelming feeling of relief and delight when DD1 qualified.
Don't close the appeals section just yet Etienne. Not quite the news we were hoping for in our household: 119 and 120.
Can anyone please tell me how to go about requesting the raw scores. There is no mention of this in the letter.

Sorry to hear that Muguet :( - those scores are so frustratingly close. Definitely worth a pop at an appeal!

Muguet, I am sorry to hear that - those scores are agonisingly close.

I have resurrected a Sticky from Etienne that describes how to apply for the raw scores and also a remark, if you wish to apply for one. The remark is probably of more use than the raw scores, although I will admit that they very, very rarely produce a change in the mark. It can be helpful in identifying if a child missed a whole section, for example. (Unlikely on a score so close to 121 though.)

What did emerge a few years ago was that there can occasionally be no raw score equivalent to 121 for some birth months, so effectively the difference between qualifying with 121 and not qualifying on 120 could be half a raw mark, or perhaps even less.

Muguet, how frustratingly close the results were, BIG BIG HUGS to you. Definitely worth an appeal

Congrats to all and your DC's that have qualified.

I'm off to read the appeals section so I'm mentally prepared.... roll on 3.30

Congratulations to all those with good news :D

Muguet sorry to read your news x x x DC (now in Y8) got 120/118 and we chose the Appeal route. It was not easy, but we knew that grammar was right for our child. We were successful :D Wish you all the best x x x

Congrats to everyone. Just got the result by post. It's a good news. But I'm not very sure of getting the final call (if the situation comes as these two schools are the last two choices)as he is an OOC candidate. We applied for Burnham And Chesham. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Thanks
