Is it to do with cuts?

Slough admissions forum hasn't met since 16th March 2011 - perhaps this is something that isn't considered value for money any longer

The new "slimmed down Admissions Code" no longer requires LAs to have an Admissions Forum. Bucks has jumped the gun by decommissioning it now, instead of waiting until the new Code comes into force in February.

So who is going to make all the decisions about admissions policies etc.? The work on whether or not the 11-plus test should continue in its current format is still ongoing, I believe.
