'All catchment children offered plus out of area siblings and some out area to a distance of 6.967 miles'

I had a look at Aylesbury High school's catchment area and it covers up to 10+ miles. Yet the Council's booklet says 'some other out-area children to a distance of 10.872 miles.' so actually very less chance of getting into the school if the kid is out-of-catchment.

I had this question because I want to live in Stock Hammond while RAC's route planner told me it is about 17 miles away from Royal Latin Grammar. Seems I should live close a bit.

17 miles would be pushing your luck for any school other than a sink school.

If you really want a particular school, the closer the better.

is Stock Hammond in the catchment area of RLG, or possibly close enough to RLG?

Catchment maps on the Bucks website:

Stoke Hammond not in RLS [Royal Latin School] catchment - I would suggest you live nearer to be sure - assuming your child gets the 121+
