catchment distance

Morning,

was wondering if anybody can help with catchment distance for Royal latin in Bucks...I know last year the offered up to 11 miles, any thoughts on what this year might look like!!!

Applications were down quite significantly last year and this had a knock-on effect on the allocation distance (the catchment area remains the same). I've heard they are back up to around 2010 levels this year and so I'm hazarding a guess that the OOC distance offered around the top end of the county might be around the 8/9 mile mark as in previous years with similar numbers of applications. However, this is purely guesswork since there is no way of telling what proportion of qualified applicants come from inside or outside the catchment area, the number of successful selection appeals, how close the OOC applications are, whether there were a lot of sibling applications, etc.
