Hi All,

Just read some where on the forum that the Head Teachers in the school know the 11+results be a a week or 10 days earlier before November 30.

Is this true or a myth?

A partial myth. The results letters are delivered to the schools on or around the Tuesday before results day, so 3 days ahead.

So this meansthat HT/Teachers/School knows the result of the children before they handover the result to the children.

Yes, although in my DCs school it was restricted to the head & deputy. The teachers didn't know.

The same here - only a few people - Head, his Sec, possibly the Deputy. Essentially as few people as possible,

My son is going for Buck test tomorrow. When can we excpet the result?

Friday 30th November, along with everyone else.

OoC testers receive their results by post, and in the last couple of years they have been sent out first class on the previous day. In-county children receive their results at the end of the school day by hand.

As my name says I'm not from this area so please excuse my ignorance. I thought all results had to go out before the SCAF deadline. So, is the deadline later for you guys?

No - CAF deadline the same but results NOT out until after this.

Anyone ever heard of the head or deputy giving clues away before handing the results out? How can they look you in the eye and not give something away ?
