:)

If anyone has missed out on distance and wants to see how close they were, this little app lets you measure the straight-line distance from any point.

Hi All,

Just hot an email from admissions team.

Daugter has been offered a place a Wycombe High School ( Our first Choice)

I thank once again to all the forum members, Moderators ( Patricia, Sally-Anne) Guest55 and every one who replied to my queries patiently.

The email says
It is important that you reply to our offer of a school place for your child by midnight on 15 March 2013.
But the website is still down at the moment.

Regards

Sonia

Being OOC in Herts, have to wait until 6pm to hear from them - painful! And I thought waiting for selection review results was bad....

Good luck one and all on getting into your 1st choices....

If you are hoping for a Bucks GS place and have an OS map and ruler, you can simply use the distances to work out whether you are in with a chance or not.

Not convinced about web tools for straight line distance, I'm afraid, hermie. OK for a rough guide, but a good old fashioned OS map will never let you down. :D

We are 4.985 miles from our first choice school (AGS) so should be ok - but I won't believe it til I get that email!

Given that they have allocated to more than 14 miles away, you are as safe as houses, Kathy.
