Looking for a maths tutor - GCSE level

Post by Morning Glory »

Hi

Does anyone know any good maths tutors that can help my DS as he is struggling a bit. He gets all the theory in class but just can't seem to apply it when given a question and then has to apply what he has learnt. DS has Aspergers so has very fixed thinking and at the moment he is adamant he doesn't want a tutor but I think I am slowly but surely making him see that in the long term this could be of great benefit.

If you could PM me with any recommendations I would be really grateful.

I would ask his maths teacher at school. They will have a friend who is a maths teacher at another school. Seems to be the way of the world, or at least that's how we found our maths tutor and my friends found her DD's English tutor. Are you looking at a particular area?

Thanks Scary Mum I will ask. Someone in the Wycombe area would be best.
