Change of address after school allocation
Hi,
My DS got an offer from DCGS. We are planning to move more closer to the school, so that he can walk to school. We are in the process of selling our current house and found a property within the walking distance to the school. I am not sure what is the school policy if we change address after the school allocation. Is there any restrictions on the number of months to be in the same address or something like that? Also do we have to notify the council/school now? Please advice.
Thanks,
Muru

Re: Change of address after school allocation
provided you got the place using your current address (which sounds like it was further way?) then I can't see that there is a problem in moving closer.
We moved after allocation and before DD started at school - both addresses would have got us a place anyway, we just wrote to the school to tell them.
