Familiarisation tests and practise paper results

Does anyone know if the children are supposed to be taking home the familiarisation packs and the practise tests they are undertaking at the moment. My daughter was told it is up to the teacher.
I thought we should be given the tests and the pack otherwise it may blight her chances of passing if we can't go throught the tests and the questions she needs extra help on.

My daughter got 4 wrong in the practise Paper A, 8 wrong in practise Paper 1. This isn't too bad. I think it would be a pass result in the real thing.
Does anyone know if we are supposed to formally get the results or not??

Thanks in advance.

The packs should come home - the results are not formally recorded as the papers have been around for ages ...

At what point should they come home.
She has one practise paper to do next week.

Ours came home after all the papers were completed.

I think that is usual practice - go through them with your child and get them to explain how they did each one. You can then identify areas to practise.

Dear Chez

It varies from school to school.

Some will mark after each test and send home after each test.

Some will not mark any of the tests and send home after each test.

Some will mark after each test, but will not send home till all 3 have been completed.

Some will not mark tests and will not send home till all 3 finished.
