2014 Admissions process
Registration for the 11+ testing process for 2014 admission is now open on the Bucks CC website: http://www.buckscc.gov.uk/bcc/schools/a ... eline.page" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;?
The deadline to apply for testing is 1st July 2013. Child who attend Bucks state schools will automatically be registered for testing unless parents choose for them not to take the test.
All other children, i.e. those who attend private schools or schools outside Bucks must be registered to take the test.

The full timeline is as follows:
1st July 2013: Deadline to register for 11+ testing
5th September 2013: Online portal opens for secondary school applications.
10th September 2013: Preparation sessions for the 11+ for all children, regardless of where they live or what type of school they attend.
12th September 2013: 11+ tests.
11th October 2013: Test results notified to parents.
22nd October 2013: Recommended date for school applications of be submitted.
25th October 2013: Deadline for paper applications from Bucks state schools to submit paper applications via their child's school.
31st October 2013 (3pm): Deadline for online applications. Postal applications must reach BCC Admissions by the same date and time.
14th November 2013: Deadline to provide evidence of home address if you are moving into Bucks. N.B. Some schools have a much earlier deadline. Make sure you check the admission rules of schools you wish to apply to.
3rd March 2014: National Allocations Day for Secondary School places.

Hi Sally-Anne. I understand from another parent that the process for appeals is unlikely to change for 2014, especially as the 1st March 2013 deadline for consultation has passed. Is that your understanding also?

We haven't got a place in our preferred grammar school and we applied according to admission rules/policies.
Please can anyone inform me how to apply for appeal.
