Hi,

Does anybody know roughly when BCC start to let you know if places are available to OOC children ?

I don't want to bug them, as they clearly get lots of these calls, but if they cannot provide transport then you need to know in good time to find an alternative don't you ?

Thanks,
Fizzylime

Hi,
I am also waiting to hear. I thought that it was from date of application and didn't matter if you were out of county.
Where are you travelling from?

Thanks for the link southbucks, I did actually call them in the end and they said that they will start sending out offers end of June/early July.

Ponymad - you are right. I don't why I thought that transport worked this way, think I am so used to this with the schools, paired with not reading the info correctly !!
We are in Eaton Bray, so hopefully all will be fine, just the massive cost !

Has anyone heard yet about the bus?

Fizzylime - if you don't get a bus space what alternative are you going to use?

Hi ponymad - heard nothing yet, but a few of the mums who already have older children have said that last year, and the year before they did not hear until the week after the kids broke up !

There is a public bus that leaves up the road, but think it is a bit earlier than the school bus would go, about 7:15 I believe, so that will be backup, hoping though it won't be needed.

What about you, any other plans ?
