Hi My son is in year 5 and we live in Bucks. We are about to have him assessed for dyslexia. He has been with a tutor for 1 year now, this has been to help him fill in the gaps and the tutor is the one who feels he is dyslexic and it makes a lot of sense to us. He is a bright lad and we would like to give him the best opportunity.

I have looked at the cd's on this site and the different 11 plus papers by different publishers - I am not sure which ones we should be doing.

Please can someone point me in the right direction.

Many thanks
Kate

If you get an assessment for dyslexia you may be able to get extra time for the 11+ as, otherwise, he will be at a disadvantage. Patricia posts the order she recommends and the content - look down the threads for this.

Have a look at this thread

viewtopic.php?t=2272

It's patricia's list of areas to look at.

Good luck
