Hi

Everyone's probably seen this in the BFP but another set of great GCSE results from GMS (and Borlase) which shows that we really do have fantastic choice in our schools.

I have one DD at Sir William Borlase's Grammar School and a DS who has just started at Great Marlow. For all those parents out there who have children that didn't get the magic 121 - don't worry. My DS at Great Marlow is in the top stream - targetted achieve level 6/7 in most subjects (same as DD at SWBGS) this year - we are very happy, he is very happy. Right now I couldn't put a piece of paper between the two schools. Perhaps the only difference is that the pastoral side is much stronger at GMS. At Borlase the kids seem to be expected to get on with it, with little intervention from teachers.
