Hi there,
I am trying but not very hopeful.
It has been an interesting few months and I now understand alot more about how DS works and his weaknesses.
Found it very intriguing that he struggles to read stand alone words such recent/resend or decent/descent. Therefore it stands to reason that he will take longer to do synonymns and antonyms or to even read a maths question - let alone work out the formula required to solve it so we will wait and see -. I suspect they will say he hasn't had extra time for SATS so he doesn't need it for this.
If he doesn't get extra time then I don't think we will bother - why sit an exam that you stand no chance of passing. It isn't a level playing field if you are working twice as hard to answer one question.
