Are you within the allocation distance that Sally-Anne posted?

It sounds like there are two children with similar names and you won't be sure until Tuesday.

Did you check on the allocation list? It says 'all offered' for 12+.

Yes it says all offered. Finger Cross.
My Son also offered JHGS.
Thinking of BGS due to easy commute although he likes JHGS.
I dont think academically much difference in both schools.
what you say...

Go with the one that you preferred and that is easier to get to.

They are both good GS - one is mixed though - that is the main difference.

You may have received the letters on the same day, but which one says no places and were they both written / postmarked the same day? My guess would be that the 'place' letter was sent after the 'waiting list' letter? If so, then possibly on Tuesday or Wednesday you will get another 'place offered' letter from whoever sent the 'waiting list' letter - I'm guessing this was the LEA (but please forgive me if I'm completely wrong here).
