Travel to DCHS from Ruislip
Given DCHS's increased intake and out of catchment allocation this year, I am wondering whether I should consider including it on the CAF for my DD this year. We are not in catchment and live in Ruislip. I was put off by there not seeming to be any obvious public transport route for her to use and also the school bus company I rang did not go to DCHS. Does anyone know of any companies that would run this route or of other children that would make a similar journey?

The additional Y7 class was a temporary addition this year. There is no indication so far that the same will happen next year.
By all means put it on your CAF just in case (and assuming you can work out the transport problem), but do not count on being allocated a place.

Lol Sally-Anne - I gave up 'counting' on a grammar school place a long time ago!
