You're looking around approx 200 questions overall. I remember when my dd too the brum cem test 3 years ago we worked out it to be around 225 in total.

Thanks Bob.

I was searching for average score in past CEM Bucks 11+ exams but couldn't find. I understand 100 standardized score is an average but how much is in terms of percentage?
If anyone knows then please let me know or provide me any useful link.
Thanks

SD score= (% raw score + 50.9)/0.9864 has shown to be a good correlation between raw scores and the sd score in a cem test - check out vza's posts.
So sd of 100 would be around 47% raw score.

be careful - Bucks is not a normal Age Standardisation but is adjusted so that just the required percentage of applicants achieve the magic 121 score in one of the papers.

The scores from the two tests in Bucks are combined so that the overall score is 121. In the old GL verbal reasoning tests the scores for each of the 2 tests were standardised separately so that you only needed to score 121 in one test, with the other score disregarded. That is not the case now.

Thanks Bob1892.

I don't think this formula is valid for all raw scores or I am doing silly mistake :D.
E.g. if I take 100% raw score then getting SD score = 152.98053 [(100 + 50.9)/0.9864]. I believe in previous years max SD score was touching around 199 and 188 (which is not equal to 100% raw score, sure).

I believe at the 2 extremes - around 100% and 0% calculating sd scores becomes almost
impossible.
Check out vza's post from a couple of years ago.
