Hello,

I have a question if the score is 120, just below cut off score. Can I apply? I will be applying for selection review, but will my application be considered?

Does any one know if minimum score reduced below 121 in the past in waiting list cases?

You need to put the school you want first on your CAF regardless of a review.

If the review isn't successful then, I'm sorry, you won't be considered for a GS place but you can appeal after March. AN appeal has to show the review was not FCO (fair, consistent and objective).

I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but 121 is the pass score for GS in Bucks. Any score below that is not a pass. You will need to go to review or appeal with any score below 121. Waiting lists for Bucks GS require 121 pass mark and then other admission criteria come in to play.

Even if I apply for the selection review, I presume that the results will not be known before 31st Oct. So, how does the process work?

Assuming review is successful, will the review results be shared with the concerned authority who are doing the school admissions and my CAF application will be considered with new score?

You fill in the CAF with the schools you want - GS first then other local options in order of preference.

The reviews take place and decide if you child is 'selective' or not and this is share with LAs (no score is ever involved - just slective or not). If the review is successful then your child will be considered for a place at the GS you have named on National Allocation Day and the distance and entrance policies come into play. If the review is not succesful then GS choices are ignored and your other choices taken in order.

You then have can appeal BUT you have to show review was not FCO.
