Hi all,
I am new to this forum and in desperate need to get some information if possible
I live in london and my dd recently sat her bucks transfer test , we have been hunting for houses in the county since a couple of months and have not been successful as of yet to find the right home as this would be a big move ,therefore we are quite sure that we will not be able to make the move before the first allocation deadline which is the 1 st October . as far as I know the second allocation cutoff is 17 th March and if I make this big move before the second allocation are there any chances that my dd would be able to get into the grammar school if she becomes eligible ? Or the places get full in the first allocation ? Has anyone been in this situation before ? Please help I'm really worried

All the Bucks GS were full on March 1st this year. A few places did come up in later rounds but you cannot know where that might be.

See Sallly- Anne's sticky here:

Which schools were you hoping for?

Will you only move if she qualifies? What is plan B if she doesn't?

It is not an easy problem to have.

That's the problem, she is quite confident about the test now, thus am not sure if I shall leave it till the second allocation or move before 1st of October. Plan B would be to try for a comprehensive school in London.
