As there's no Berkshire County Council as such, you will need to apply to the correct local authority (Reading or Wokingham I guess)

You will probably find it helpful to read this booklet - especially the section on moving house.

And yes, you can name any school - there should be instructions as to how to list schools outside your own area, if they don't show up on the drop-down initially.

You're welcome :)

I would just gently suggest that if you have got to this stage in the admissions round - even if you don't live in Buckinghamshire, if you want to apply for a place at one of their schools the document linked to by Guest55 shouldn't actually be unfamiliar...

One of my friends going through similar situation. They were wondering if they will have an opportunity to change the order of schools/fill CAF again once they move into bucks hopefully by the end of the year?
They live in Wokingham and planning to submit CAF (to Wokingham LA?) by the 31st of Oct, applying currently just for Slough schools I guess.

Any thoughts anyone?

Read the booklet - it will be considered as a late application if they change the CAF.

If they know roughly where they are moving to it would be better to list Bucks schools now.

Many thanks, will pass the info on.

I think they are looking for Sir William Borlase (hope I spelt it right!) and another near by GS school.

Is there a way to know which bucks school had places left after first round of allocations last year?
