Old VR
Hello all, can anyone clarify if I could callously disregard the old VR(alphabet code)etc and steam ahead with syn/ant, cloze etc or am I likely to kick myself come September 2017 if dd is faced with a page of cryptic codes in her test??
I'm getting strange but well meaning advice from sanctimonious mum/friends to prepare for everything
but I'm worried that I will tamper with the delicate brain of my dd who's already wilting under the load of copious wordlists.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Old VR
Bucks is 100% CEM so you can safely ditch the Old VR DG
Re: Old VR
The info I received about codes were that they were "unlikely to be in CEM but never say never". So we did a few ten minute tests of them and then ignored them.
My DD sat a non verbal reasoning test for her backup school option and said codes were in there but it's not in any of the CEM prep material we've seen. So worth a quick visit, I'd say, but don't bother with all the "21 types". Better to go for breadth now and work on speed nearer the time.
