I think there is scope for more than one entrant - remember they are changing their PAN to 174 soon so it would be hard to argue that 168 is the max they can cope with.

I was thinking the same thing myself. Definitely scope for a few appeals?

THANK YOU GUEST 55...

I mean, thank you Guess 55, I think I might need whatever help you can offer after 6 June.

For the time being, everything crossed again please, I know it hurts, but it worked for us before

Hi - sorry I might be being a bit dense :? , you mean Y8 entry this September?

Although I believe RLS had one open place for last years's Y7 intake (what a pity!), I understand that has since been filled, certainly the evidence for this years Y7 appeals from the school show it now at PAN

Good luck anyways

Keeping fingers crossed for you all -

Current RLS PAN is 168 - new PAN will be 174 - most year groups are 173/4 so I think there is scope for 6 places ..

This 'everything crossed' malarky is painful!!!

Guess 55 - does this mean that BCC allocations team are looking at having 6 spare places for the 6 June hand out - or when you appeal there is an opportunity of 6 places still up for grabs???

And do we actually hear on 6 June or do they post the letter on that day (which in our case means we will hear in a couple of weeks time!!).

No I think they will allocate to 168 but at aopeal there will be strong grounds for 'arguing' that more can be coped with.

I think they will send the letter on the 6th - you could ask to pick it up at County Hall - this is what I did and they agreed!

Good luck tomorrow Ambridge. Got everything crossed for you and the others waiting for allocations. Did you find out if you could collect your letter from County Hall or will you be waiting for the postman?
