RGS boarding

Does anyone have any idea how many people applied for RGS - Boarding last year.

I can't tell you exactly how many people applied for boarding places, but I can give you this information. It comes from the final Allocation Profile issued by Bucks CC, which is the status of each school as at August 29th 2008:

The Royal Grammar School (182 day places & 10 boarding places) - Due to under-subscription for the boarding places, the school took the decision to convert the 7 vacant boarding places to day places.

Thus, only 3 boarders entered Year 7 this year. That may indicate that boarding is unpopular at RGS, or that very few boarding applicants qualified via the 11+.
