Here we go!
Have been reading this forum for what seems like a lifetime - just felt I needed to come online & say GOOD LUCK to everyone tomorrow.
I cannot quite believe how nervous I am - DS seems cool although he was stressed at the beginning of the week. I suggested that we "booked in" a worry session this evening over a drink & cake whilst his sister was at ballet! It has worked all week but now of course we need to do the worry session.
Anway, keep smiling everyone - it'll soon be over! Well until we know whether they've got in to their fave school! Why oh why can't it all be sorted tomorrow......

Yes it would be good to know, my DS doesn't seem stressed about the actual result he just wants to know which school he'll be going to and whether his friends will be there.bellybops wrote:Well until we know whether they've got in to their fave school! I, on the other hand, am starting to feel rather sick
Anyway, nearly there now - I've been following that snail like some sort of stalker!!!
Good luck all for tomorrow

Welcome to the Forum bellybops!
OK, so I am now seriously worried about the snail!
I am trying to think about the poor snail's future as hard as I can, because it seems to me that his situation is far more perilous than DS2's!
The snail's world is almost certainly going to end tomorrow, come what may, but DS2's won't. He knows that there is a Plan B and that, whilst it may not be our ideal solution, it is there and will do the job.
Good luck everyone - here's hoping I don't find myself talking to any of you over on Appeals.

Good Luck to everyone for tomorrow.
Just remember its not the end of the world if the results are not as expected. Firstly there is the appeal section with our lovely Etienne and Sally-Anne.
Secondly its not the school your child attends its how your child performs in that school. My children have friends who went to Upper schools and came out with extremely good qualifications, some achieving straight As in thier GCSEs.

PS. I get just as nervous waiting for my children to ring me up with their scores
