Torbay test 2012 arrangements/ admissions policy
The 11+ test details and proposed new admissions policy is now on the Torquay boys and girls/ Churston websites.
The 11+ test will be held on 15 and 22 September 2012.
The registration deadline will 10 Sep (boys) and 11 Sept (girls) and 5 Sept (CGS).
A "guidance" letter will be issued on 18 October indicating whether a grammar school application is likely to be successful. Scores will not be revealed.
There is now priority for children on free school meals and for children of staff in a tie-break situation at the girls' grammar and Churston.
The boys' school has also included tie-break priority for free school meals, but not children of staff.
I wonder if there will be a surge in dinner lady applications

Thank you for posting that Nearly There! Will now go and thoroughly read the Boys Grammer web site and check Westlands as well!
But don't think I'll apply as a dinner lady as I don't think it will help my DS get into the Girls Grammer School!
