Just wondering if they might be out this week and whether they email or post results.

Thanks

'At least one week' before the deadline for submitting your CAF doesn't preclude it, but also gives scope for a rather longer wait, unfortunately.

Thanks. I'd seen that on the website but wondered if anyone knew when they were sent out in the last couple of years just for a rough idea.

And are the results emailed, does anyone know?

If Colyton Grammar School is listed as your first preference on the Common Application Form, I would expect ... to be allocated a place for September.

above from Colyton Grammar School its mean he in the list of top 120 or there still a gamble for place and no guaranty for place ?

I spoke to the deputy head. She said this means that your child is one of the 155 that will be allocated a place if placed first on the CAF form.

Never a guarantee, of course, but it's as certain as you'll get. If that sentence is not on someone's email, at the moment, they are not one of the 155. However, some won't accept the place, so they could be at a later date.

Our email was that dd didn't get an eligible score :(

Said that we couldn't apply/wouldn't be on a waiting list.

Just wondered if this would ever be likely to change if they didn't get enough kids to fill places???

DD is very disappointed as she'd had her heart set on going. Think she knew it hadn't gone as well as she thought she could have done. We feel happier with her going to more local school but for some reason she really wanted to go there. Feel very sad for her right now.

We were very fortunate to receive the email with the eligible paragraph so does this definitely mean we have a place if we put Colyton first?
