My daughter loved it!
It was a big intake this year - 7 classes - which was a bit of a shock. I think everyone in this area who went to appeal seemed to get in. Something to do with a 'bulge year' according to the headmistress at the new parents evening.
All my daughter's friends are in other classes, but she is not the least bit fazed by it and now desperate for September to come around.

Mine loved it too! Didn't realise there were 7 classes though - that's a huge increase. Have been shopping for uniform and luckily the lady in the shop was very definate about the length of skirt allowed - saved me any bother!!!!!

Be assured that skirt will magically shrink during the course of yr8!
