My DD has passed the Dorset grammar school exam with a score of 362. She is keen to go to Parkstone grammar school. We are way out of the catchment area. We are not sure with her score whether she could get in to the Parkatone school with her score or not?

these are figures from 2014:
Parkstone
314 total applicant
168 offered
134 poole resident
34 non poole resident
87 refused (inclu ppl didn't take test or did not pass paper)
216 total ppl that have passed paper.

34 pupils out of area got places - according to the oversubscription policy they are offered on rank order of scores. I'm not sure what the range of scores is but there is a thread here indicating some scores : http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/ ... 14&t=44420" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hello
I am assuming your daughter got a place based upon her score. Where do you live? Wondered if it was near us and whether the girls could travel together?
