for the essex grammar schools like kegs it says in the secondary education brochure which details all the schools that a supplementary information form is required for certain schools.
now for the religious ones this will be a letter from a priest etc but for the grammar ones is it just the entrance for the 11+ that generates this sif and autoamtically goes to the schools from there? , i just want to make doubly sure there isnt a letter you have to send to the schools individually aswell?

I'm from Essex too. All I did was complete the LEA form stating my (up to four) preferences of schools, obviously with the grammar school/s as the top preferences. Then I completed the CSSE 11+ form in which you state the grammar school you wish your child to sit the test at. I am sure that is all that is required.

Good Luck to your child

thank you i thought as much
