11+ marking

Does ayone know if you can be marked down for age, if child born in september?.

No, not in Essex.

I think most areas add a few marks for the younger ones rather than take them away from the older ones
(comes to the same thing I suppose :? )

Hi thanks for reply, i was told by a parent that papers are all marked within week, does anyone know if they are marked by teachers?.

Essex has absolutely no age standardisation.

Even if they are marked within a week any subsequent sittings have to be added and then standardised.

How are the marks allocated ie what percentage neded and how do they work out the end mark?.
