Sudbury bus queries again!

Post by penny »

I still hope that DS will want to travel on the bus come September, but just noticed that the bus leaves Norman Way Schools at 15:45 yet CRGS doesn't finish 'til 15:40. He is pretty organised (for an 11yr old boy...) but just wondered if anyone has experiences that can put my mind at rest, or am I going to get a tel call every afternoon?? thank u! :D

Most of the contract buses leave Norman Way schools (which finish earlier) & then head down to CRGS (picking up by the back gate).
Boys have plenty of time to get from last lesson to the back of school.

The Chambers 753 is not a contract service and so picks up for CRGS at the stop opposite Beverley Road (http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&hq=&l ... 4&t=h&z=19) and at the stop opposite Essex County Hospital (next to the Tesco Express - http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&hq=&t ... 00284&z=19).
No problems with catching the bus - it normally reaches these stops between 15:50 and 16:00 (later than stated in the timetable) and plenty of CRGS students catch it without any problems at all.
No need to worry at all!

thank you to KB and TTR for the replies, when DS comes home from footie I'll be able to put his mind (well, more honestly my mind!) at rest. Forum is tops once again
