Colchester county high - Induction day

This is scheduled for June 30th - the day of the planned teachers strike!
Do you think this will go ahead? And should it?
I'm not sure I want it to if the staffing is going to be majorly affected, as the point of the day is for the girls to experience a normal day.

My daughter came back yesterday and said the induction day would be cancelled if the strike goes ahead. I think she heard it from a teacher. We got an email through to say 30th June was the planned strike and there will be limited staff in but there will be classes for 6th formers. I'm sure the school will inform you if the induction day is cancelled and no doubt, they will reschedule it.

The website says it's been rescheduled for 6th July instead.

Yes I have just received an email saying it has been cancelled. Unfortunately I don't think she can make the new date
