Please can someone who has successfully home tutored their child for Essex Schools let me know of any books or materials that is relevant for Essex 11 plus. Thank you.

Bond for maths and English. Nice and cheap. Various for VR ensuring that multiple choice and the correct techniques. Have a look in the VR thread there is a lot of information there. Essex VR is similar to Bucks and Kent.

Thanks, I was thinking the same, Susan D Bright Sparks for VR I suppose. I sent my DS to a tutor because I felt he needed one. He gets bored quickly, when I teach. But I know he has the potential. But My DD can sit with me and does not ask for breaks all the time, so I hope it will be easier with her.
