Tiptree to Chelmsford?
Does anybody know of anyone who travels from Tiptree to CCHS? We are in the process of deciding preferences & hadn't previously considered listing any other GS than ColCHS but decided to 'pop along' to CCHS open evening - result of which was that our daughter fell in love with it! I knew it would be a more difficult journey but, on researching it, it appears we would have little choice but to commit to taking her to school for the next 7 years! The closest bus route I can find only comes out as far as Gt Totham. Does anyone have any advance on that please?

How far is the nearest train station? Could she bus and train?

No, that's not really an option either. Nearest train station is Kelvedon which is a drive away & then joining the 'commuter express' - don't think she'd have much company there - and it would be as easy to take her to Totham for the bus. I don't think it's a journey she's going to be able to make wholly by public transport though. Obviously everyone from around here opts to head in the other direction to Colchester!
