ooc places in essex schools

forgive me if this question has been asked before.i just want to know how many places are awarded to ooc children in chelmsford,colchester and westcliff gs.also what are the cutoff scores for these gs.i have looked at their websites but couldnt find the desired information.thnx

There is no catchment for Chelmsford and Colchester. You could live on the moon and get a place if you fancied the commute. Westcliff does have catchment and out of catchment places. I'm not well versed in how the Southend schools operate but I think the catchment children have to reach a set score (303 rings a bell) in order to gain a place. Out of catchment children are taken in order of merit. The number of ooc children varies each year. The score required for Chelmsford and Colchester varies each year but I think is roughly around 330-340 for the last places.
