Can you tell me the sucess rate for appeals at the essex grammars ?

I think the answer is low but have no exact figures. dutchy005 won an appeal for CRGS a couple of years ago (see sticky post above) and a boy won a place after a remark the year before, so it is possible but uncommon.

Don't know about girls' grammars but CRGS one in last 12 years but some years there have been no appeals: in 2009 only 5.

KEGS seems to have one or two succesful most years but in our year, 2009 none and, I believe none in 2010. Last year a couple were won though.

WHSB had had 15 successful appeals in the 5 years 2004 to 2008 inclusive but don't know about what happened since then.

Have no info on SHSB

Good luck, appeals are not for the faint-hearted in Essex that's for sure.
