Maybe they should have brought in tartan trews. They'd be breaking their legs to wear the kilt, then!

With the old uniform DD was originally going to have trousers until older girls told her that having to wear a pair of the schools trousers was the punishment for having your skirt too short!


I think most parents agree the skirt sounds smart, some girls may think this too but won't admit it, as the consensus opinion is "its horrible". I'm sure it will be fine once they are all wearing it.

Unfortunately DD would rather have her brothers blazer - purple has always been her favourite colour!

Tartan trousers...the mind boggles . Shame they have changed suppliers as Ipswich is such a long way from here, hopefully our DD can try on the uniform at the info evening in June.

Have just received the letter from school regarding the new uniform, shocked by the prices but guess that might be because I was so pleasantly surprised by the cost of the uniform when DD joined the school. We are currently discussing staying in the old uniform, I was the one who wanted to see DD in new uniform so have done something of a u-turn

Now just got to schlep up to Ipswich for replacements - DD can't imagine buying without trying on... maybe I need to work on that, the internet ordering being so much easier!

Yes there seems to have been a change around - DD and her friends have suddenly decided they want the new uniform for September and the parents (having seen the price list) are no longer as keen
