Travelling to SHSG from Hockley

Hello, i wondered if there were any other mums who have a daughter starting at SHSG who live in the Hockley/Rayleigh area.My dd is the only one from her primary school so doesnt know anyone. We are all ok with this but i am having a bit of a wobble about her doing the journey on her own. The plan is for her to get the train and bus from Southend Victoria. I wondered there was anyone out there in the same position as us, would you be willing to perhaps meet up so they can recognise each other and perhaps travel with each other.
