Argghh-where is the time going!?

What's the deal with the post-results information evenings? Does anyone know? I understand that they will be invitation-only affairs for those with a hope of getting a place. Does that mean that the top ranked children will be invited to all of the GS in Essex and Southend, or just the school where he/she sat their exam? What further information is likely to be given at these evenings?

On my DS's tour of KEGS in July the Head mentioned this opportunity and those with a likely hood of having done well enough to secure a place would be invited back. I notice from the details published on the ECC website (see last post) that the various schools have all approached this in different ways. Looks like some are invitation only while others it's up to the individual and/or their circumstances. Best check with any school you might want/need to see again. Personally, getting mildly stressed now, 11+ in two weeks and a house move in three! Aaarrrrggghhhh!
